Job Purpose

The Engineer will be responsible for implementing and executing Pre-commissioning/Commissioning and start-up plan for the tasks he/she is assigned to. Provides engineering solutions as part of a SSE project taskforce, in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures, processes, schedules, and budget, with a continuous concern for quality, targets, and customer satisfaction.

Job Description

  • Execute the follow up of Pre-commissioning/Commissioning & Start-Up (PC&C&SU) activities, on a defined area/unit/plant or group of systems.
  • Performs the static and dynamic tests and generates the associated report sheets and ensures they are available for hand over teams.
  • Assures that all PC&C activities under his/her control are duly performed in accordance with the stated procedures, in conformity with the safety rules & standards and as per the instructions of Commissioning Lead/Manager.
  • Prepares and generates the pre-commissioning procedures in office and site.
  • Controls the construction subcontractor's Pre-commissioning and Commissioning team in office and site.
  • May lead the work of some Pre-commissioning and Commissioning operators and vendors during the commissioning task.
  • Conduct activities in compliance with the Project standards in terms of Quality, Cost & Time;

You are meant for this job if:

  • Engineering degree (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Civil, Industrial)
  • >3 years of experience in process or engineering disciplines
  • Experience working in pre-commissioning / commissioning of Oil & Gas development
  • Practical experience/understanding of preparation, coordination, and execution phase of projects in general;
  • Good command of English, both verbal and writing
  • Capability to work under pressure
  • Project management skills, Good organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Good level of proactivity
  • Proven communication skills
