Job Purpose

The Engineering Planning Manager oversees the planning and scheduling activities within the One Engineering department and plays a crucial role in strategic planning initiatives. Responsibilities include optimizing project schedules, managing resources effectively, and collaborating with various cross-functional teams to meet departmental objectives.

Job Description

 

  • Manage and mentor a team of 15-20 engineering planning, data science, and BI professionals

  • Oversee KPIs, risk management and help chain management, and drive SSI initiatives

  • Lead and manage the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Engineering Planning, providing leadership with insights on key business scenario changes

  • Facilitate regular meetings to review project progress, identify & communicate risks, and adjust plans as needed

  • Ensure that all planning activities on projects are in strict compliance with TechnipFMC standards, Quality, and HSE requirements

You are meant for this job if:

 

  • Engineering degree or equivalent diploma

  • 10+ years of experience in Project planning, scheduling, and execution

  • Expert knowledge of Project Planning tools

  • Professional English

  • Understanding of the business principles for the Oil & Gas industry and experience in Project delivery processes and principles

  • Basic knowledge about the Global Business Process Management System (GBPMS)
