Job Purpose

Manufacturing Engineer – II (Routing) is a member of Manufacturing Engineering team involving in creating Manufacturing process, documents and supports and other Manufacturing Engineering activities.

Main Accountabilities

  • Create and Maintain PP master data (Material master, BOM, Work Center, Routing)
  • MRP controller, ensuring MRP effectiveness and Implementation for generation of SAP planned orders for production and purchase requisitions of BOM items according to the customer demand.
  • Process owner for manufacturing routing creations and deliverables
  • Responsible for manufacturing hours estimation and standardization
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, production, planning and procurement for routing related activities
  • Drive and standardize the routing process
  • Involve in other activities such as Gemba walk and new Plant code setup and new product manufacturing projects.

Required Knowledge/Formal Education

Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in a relevant Engineering discipline preferred or equivalent

Required Experience

    • More than 6+ years of relevant experience

Required Interpersonal Skills

    • Good command of English
    • Show evidence of good organizational and problem-solving skills
    • Service/Customer oriented
    •  Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and project culture

Required Technical Skills

    • Strong knowledge in SAP PP module
    • Strong knowledge in Manufacturing process.
    • Understanding of Cladding and Assembly process
    • Knowledge of Team Center or equivalent PLM applications
    • Knowledge of Unigraphics-NX application
    • Able to read engineering drawings and understanding GD&T requirements
    • Able to work independently on the more varied and complex tasks without direct supervision
    • Basic knowledge of Quality and HSE Management systems.
