At TechnipFMC, we deliver critical projects of a scale, scope and difficulty that you simply won’t find anywhere else. We are looking for a Lead Engineer II - Installation Engineering with previous 10+yrs experience in Subsea Oil & Gas field as installation engineer

Job Description

  • Ensure work is performed in compliance with the established design rules and procedures within TechnipFMC Group
  • You are autonomous in the preparation and Offshore support activities for products installation
  • You take responsibility for a package and a group of Engineers on a major project
  • You plan, prepare and confirm the specific procedures (validation test on site, transportation and installation) and associated calculation notes (design lifting slings) defining priorities,
  • You bring technical expertise during the procurement process, and confirm the project's progress at interim meetings with your Lead,
  • You realize the production of all documents and preliminary studies related to tenders and projects developed by the Center.
  • You participate to vessel/CB mobilization as well as installation phases on vessel to validate technical solutions by respecting the rules of the Group HSEQ.
  • You warrant that your activities are conducted in compliance with the Project standards in terms of Quality, Cost & Time.
  • Interface with Project Team to clarify aspects of the work, project data and define installation procedure
  • Write technical project documents and ensure deliverables are issued as per schedule.
  • Lead a team of engineers and perform quality assurance check of analysis performed by the engineers.
  • Consolidate team experience in discipline.
  • Ability to mentor and train and develop engineers.

You are meant for this job if:

  • Bachelor of Engineering/ Technology degree in civil/ mechanical or any other relevant engineering disciplines.
  • 10+ years of experience working as Installation Engineer for Subsea Oil & Gas Industry
  • Experience of being a project engineer on offshore installation vessels on multiple projects and exposure to mulitple product installation.
  • Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good knowledge in offshore structures/ wave hydrodynamics.
  • Experience in leading a team of analysis engineers, performing QA and delivering projects

Nice to have:

  • Master of Engineering/ Technology degree in Offshore Structures/ Ocean Engineering or any other relevant engineering disciplines.
  • Experience using installation analysis software (Orcaflex©, Flexcom©, Deeplines©, Offpipe, etc.)
