Job Purpose

  • Ensure the highest level of quality in our products by performing Quality checks of the Supplier manufacturing records according to engineering & project requirements.
  • Ensure all Suppliers’ Manufacturing Records required per TechnipFMC's engineering specifications are received, reviewed, and accepted prior to the shipment of Parts to TechnipFMC Global Plants
  • Ensure traceability, records of all supplier products are maintained in database.
  • Work within existing systems & under supervision.

Job Description

  • Perform Quality checks of Supplier manufacturing records to authorize the shipment of parts according to engineering & project requirements.
  • Record and maintain observations & NCs found during Quality Checks on Supplier Manufacturing Records
  • Perform Progressive Manufacturing records Review from the suppliers (Tier 1 & Tier2)
  • Communicate non-conformance findings to the internal & external stakeholders and record them in SAP/Intelex
  • Drives supplier Non-conformances report creation/coordination/closure through SAP/Intelex.
  • Works with cross functionals teams like Supplier Quality, Procurement, Engineering, manufacturing & Project departments to communicate, expedite & resolve quality related problems.
  • Perform Virtual Goods receipt (Drop Shipment) & Post Goods Issue using SAP for Supplier & Intercompany Parts
  • May participate in identification of engineering requirements errors.
  • May participate in process standardization activities.
  • May support in Supplier First Yield Improvement projects

You are meant for this job if:

  • Bachelor/Master of Engineering (Mechanical)
  • 0-2 years of experience
  • Shall have Engineering practices knowledge such as – Shall have Engineering practices knowledge such as – Engineering Drawing knowledge – read, understand, interpret various symbols associated with the manufacturing and measurement. (General Dimensioning and GD&T), Manufacturing practices & associated defects knowledge, Special process such as Welding, Coating, Heat treatment, machining, NDE (Non-Destructive` Examination), and others.
  • Good Communication skills (Verbal and Non-Verbal) – (required frequently to communicate with Global teams)
  • Ability to grasp & understand technical details of various Products, Processes, and Improvements.
  • Ability to adapt to various shift schedules across global time zones, including APAC, UK, and US
