Job Purpose

In line with the Global Processes and Policies, as well as local Procedures, provide Asset Planning & Engineering support to the Research, Engineering, Manufacture and Supply Chain (REMS) Organization.

Job Description

-    Ownership for the process of managing assets across all SURF REMS Manufacturing plants 
-    Creation of a systematic method to provide standardization, visibility, and a thorough understanding of existing asset inventory levels across plants
-    Collaboration with SURF Manufacturing Plants to baseline existing processes, create a centralized approach, and standardize the management of assets
-    Enables the flexibility of asset share between Hubs to meet product specific execution
-    Proposes the need for any new asset investment including CAPEX requests and reviews with Manufacturing leadership teams
-    Collaboration with the finance team to review subsequent impacts to the balance sheet and depreciation analysis per financial standards
-    Manages the forecast of asset needs based on the unconstrained demand plan and subsequent master production schedules, aligned with detailed analysis from SURF sites.
-    Perform risk assessments on assets for conflicts between plants, projects, subsea tenders, and services
-    Acts as a Liaison to other portions of the business with rental asset and customer owned inventory to de-risk Manufacturing project execution
-    Ensures cooperation and partnership with design teams to standardize asset when applicable
-    Ensures cooperation and interaction across diverse internal stakeholders, often managing conflicting interests and/or demanding customers

You are meant for this job if:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline. 
- Experience level 3-6 years
- Demonstrated experience on SAP system
- Knowledge of our products and assets requirements preferred
- Power BI and Power Automate demonstrated experience 
- Product and Oil & Gas Industry knowledge preferred
- Proven ability to navigate a team successfully through a cross functional matrix organization
- Experience working globally with diverse cultures, in multiple time zones, and ability to excel with multidisciplinary and diverse teams
- Strategic thinker with a track record for developing innovative solutions to difficult Business problems
- Demonstrated ability to successfully implement change throughout an organization
- Demonstrates advanced negotiation, planning, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to establish deadlines and manage priorities for self and other stakeholders from workgroups
- Demonstrated experience in leading initiatives with Lean Tools, such as A3, Obeya, RCA, Kaizen
- Ability to communicate oral and written in English. 
- Ability to communicate oral and written in French language is a differential.
- Strong teamwork, performance management, process management and relationship skills
