Job Purpose

This is analysis engineer role and is based in Hyderabad. The role requires to perform FEA analysis of subsea production system and Surface Equipment products. Analyst creates, reviews and analyzes designs to ensure compliance to technical specifications, functionality and constructability.

Job Description

  • BE or MTech in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant industry experience with background in analyzing subsea/surface equipment preferred
  • Ansys or Abaqus tool knowledge is must
  • Knowledge of industry specific design codes like ASME, API, DNV, NORSK and ISO
  • Experience in Oil and Gas equipment finite element analysis
  • Should be able to do hands-on Finite Element analysis
  • Experience in high pressurized equipment/Boiler vessels/Heavy Engineering
  • Must be able to verify and substantiate FEA results with classical hand calculation methods
  • Proficient in Non-Linear analysis
  • Proficient in Structural and Thermal analysis
  • Experience with welded and bolted structure analysis
  • Must be able to verify and substantiate FEA results with classical hand calculation methods
  • Must be able to work hands-on and guide team members
  • Must be able to estimate, plan and meet individual work requirements
  • Should be able to perform technical design reviews and recommend improvements
  • Must be able to participate in technical review meetings and discussions
  • Must be able to write, review and approve technical reports and documents
  • Ensure lessons learnt and best practices are captured adequately into Analysis techniques, project / product design.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

  • HR/HSE/Quality induction training
  • TCE and intranet system training.
  • TechnipFMC subsea system and product training modules.
  • Relevant TechnipFMC processes and local work instructions
  • Analysis software training as required

RELATIONSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Individual contributor
  • Accomplish work under the supervision of Lead Engineer or Engineering Team Leader.
  • Frequent contact and interface with internal organization (Engineers, Drafters, Quality, Project Managers, Site Fabrication team).
  • Some contact with external customers.

You are meant for this job if:

  • BE or MTech in Mechanical Engineering
