Engineer II, Subsea Connections

Job Purpose

Provides engineering solutions as part of the SSE project and PLM taskforce, ensuring compliance with TechnipFMC standrads, procedures and processes while meeting quality, schedule, budget and customer staisfaction objectives.

Job Description

Responsible for new product development, BOM, tecgnical documentation and calculations related to subsea connection. Provide engineering support for inyernal and external needs.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Work on product design and development activities.
2. Develop innovative and cost effective mechanical designs using plant standard procedures, engineering knowledge and experience.
3. Work with team and technical leads to build concept designs & develop final design for NPD & VA/VE programs.
4. Do design calculations, design reviews, develop test plans & Perform related engineering calculations by using the Mathcad.
5. Work with designer and manufacturing engineers, follow the manufacturing and assembling process, employ problem solving skills to resolve issues encountered.
6. Create & Review of 3D models, assemblies, drawings and BOM·
7. Teamcenter Knowledge added Advantage·
8. Work independently or as a team member in the global engineering team·
9. Interact with global engineering teams on technical and project management activities·
10. Liaise with production plant during build process·
11. Engineering change management with internal departments·
12. Responsible for quality, OTD and efficiency on design and drawing outputs 

You are meant for this job if:

• BS degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent with 2 to 4 years of experience in the field
• Strong technical basis in engineering
• Project management skills
• Presentation and some coaching skills
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills
• Service/Customer oriented
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Good command of English
