Job Purpose

The Transfer Pricing Manager is responsible for managing the global transfer pricing functions, including documentation, planning, and research. The individual will gather information, provide support, use strong analytical skills to perform technical analysis of large volumes of data, moderately complex reporting and compliance. This will require coordination with external consultants and internal stakeholders to drive results. The position works closely with accounting, finance, treasury and legal teams on transfer pricing related projects.

Job Description

  • Manage process for timely completion of global transfer pricing documentation to include Masterfile, Local Files, and Country by Country Reporting.  Requires proficiency with US Reg. §1.482 and OECD transfer pricing guidelines
  • Prepare and review transfer pricing compliance analysis to assess intercompany profitability
  • Prepare and review benchmarking analyses for manufacturing, distribution, service provision, leasing, and financial transactions
  • Support implementation of end-to-end transfer pricing engine
  • System maintenance of end-to-end transfer pricing engine
  • Draft intercompany transfer pricing policies and manage the implementation and maintenance of those policies
  • Management of intercompany agreements database
  • Ideation and execution of transfer pricing planning projects
  • Proactive preparation of audit ready files
  • Manage transfer pricing audits, including requests for data, preparation of schedules, gathering work papers and other supporting documentation
  • Coordinate transfer pricing requirements for acquisitions, divestitures and other strategic tax plans and provide transfer pricing support for M&A due diligence and planning
  • Research and stay current of changes to tax laws and other transfer pricing related requirements
  • Research and resolve transfer pricing related issues and inquires and provide timely responses
  • Support ongoing process improvements and automation opportunities

You are meant for this job if:

• You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance,  Accounting, or Economics; (CPA, CVA, ABV, Advanced degree in Tax or Economics strongly preferred)

• You have a minimum 5-7 years of experience; minimum 3 years in transfer pricing; mix of public accounting and industry experience preferred

• You have experience with transfer pricing planning projects and audits

• You have experience and knowledge in tax and transfer pricing software

  • Broad exposure to transfer pricing compliance and research to include benchmarking, OECD model transfer pricing documentation, compliance monitoring and adjustments, cost allocations, and intercompany financing
  • Knowledge of tax research databases such as CCH, RIA or TTR
  • Strong research and technical writing skills
  • Strong organizational and written/oral communication skills
  • Strong reconciliation, data manipulation, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Able to work independently with good communication skills
  • Proficient use of Oracle ERP, SAP, Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint, and Microsoft Power Platform
