We are seeking a motivated and passionate Sustainability Intern to support our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. This role will focus on developing processes, standard operating procedures, and templates that promote sustainability across our organization. You will collaborate with key stakeholders, including Employee Network Resource Groups, volunteers, managers, and non-profits, to help drive our mission forward.

Job Description

  • Assist in the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives.
  • Create, update, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and templates for CSR-related activities.
  • Collaborate with Employee Network Resource Groups to gather insights and promote engagement in sustainability initiatives.
  • Support the planning and execution of volunteer events in partnership with local non-profits.
  • Conduct research on best practices in sustainability and present findings to the team.
  • Help track and report on the progress of sustainability initiatives, including metrics and outcomes.
  • Facilitate communication between various stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration on projects.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to enhance our CSR strategy.

You are meant for this job if:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Strong interest in sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
  • Prior experience in volunteerism, non-profit work, or CSR initiatives is ideal.
