Job Purpose
The Strategy Manager is responsible for managing and implementing the company's strategic initiatives. They work closely with the business and product marketing teams to define the overall strategy and develop business cases relying on strong financial framework. The Strategy Manager is also accountable for measuring and reporting the performance of the overall portfolio of products, services, assets, and offerings.

Job Description
- Assist in defining and delivering the overall strategy
- Identify key strategic opportunities and priorities, growth areas, challenges, needs, improvement areas, together with business.
- Develop strategic roadmaps, including external growth and partnership opportunities.
- Support Product Marketing to define strategy and business case for new offerings
- Develop business cases supporting business growth, investments (incl. capex) and/or strategical decisions. Build financial models in collaboration with the finance team.
- Manage the portfolio management practice.
- Assess and report the performance of the portfolio, including products, services, assets, and capabilities.
- Measure value creation and adoption of the portfolio.
- Analyze Subsea / Offshore market outlook and trends.
- Responsible for market assessment for new products and new services
- Support the strategic planning process.
- Participate in portfolio synchronization events and strategic initiatives
- Identify and monitor existing and emerging competition, including businesses, assets, alliances, technologies, and strategic moves.
You are meant for this job if:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or business discipline. An MBA is a plus.
- 5-7 years of experience in strategy, M&A or finance.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the energy industry or other relevant industries.
- Strategic mindset and ability to deploy new approaches and ways of working.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both internally and externally.
- Ability to understand technology and digital market trends and assess their value.
- Structured and collaborative mindset.
- Result-driven.
- Experience working with diverse and virtual teams.
- Fluent in English.
- Ability to travel
