Job Purpose

The role leads, and is accountable for, Sourcing and Procurement organization within North America Subsea Services

Job Description

  • Develop skills and knowledge in team – coach and mentor for performance
  • Build close partnership with internal customer and suppliers
  • Use, and learn, lean methodology to continuously improve the Sourcing and Procurement teams performance
  • Lead visual management system(s) ensuring timely resolutions of identified problems
  • Develops and implement Sourcing Strategy within the Services Center and monitors the execution
  • Work closely with suppliers to capture improvement suggestions focusing on improved SQDC performance
  • Ability to provide input and solve issues that require an extensive knowledge related to supply chain
  • Exhibit leadership to secure competent, performing and motivated sourcing and procurement personnel that demonstrates good business practice and behaviors
  • Communicate and share functional performance metrics and results. Drive improvements, coach and report progress.
  • Manage budget within approved frames
  • Recruit and balance manning according to business needs and approved strategies.
  • Monitor the world market trends and challenge
  • Manage the procurement department and personnel in compliance with TechnipFMC’s regulations, strategies, and objectives.
  • Manage and lead the organization to execute strategies in support of the Service Center including resources development and planning within a global team.
  • Provide guidance and input to sourcing strategies based on Service Center business needs and market knowledge including local content, as applicable.
  • Define develop, and lead a best-in-class function and organization capable and responsible for executing the supply chain strategies ensuring flawless execution of services, product, and project deliveries in compliance to policies, procedures, laws, and regulations governing the procurement processes.

You are meant for this job if:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering or equivalent (Master's preferred)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in in Engineering/Sourcing/Procurement /Tendering/Project Management
  • Minimum 5 year management and/or supervisory experience
  • Develop and nurture environment for everyone to succeed and develop
  • Inspire confidence in team, peers and senior leaders through appropriate communication and actions
  • Ability to navigate and manage ambiguity in a changing business context
  • Demonstrate ability to develop, improve and implement processes, policies and procedures that impacts the function.
  • Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot and develop strategic implementation plans for new concepts and ideas as required by senior leaders and business objectives
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders to develop and deliver to agreed goals. Partner with peers and senior leaders
  • Lead by example in developing, improving and leveraging individual and team performance.
  • Develop talents and teams. Identify development needs and employ coaching/mentoring to explore and meet needs
