Job Purpose

As a Senior Software Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bridging technical development and market needs to drive the development of impactful software and data products. You will translate complex user needs, strategic business goals, and emerging market opportunities into scalable, innovative product solutions that deliver real value. Working closely with engineering, design, data, and business stakeholders, you’ll shape product roadmap, define clear priorities, and guide execution. Your work will directly influence how technology solves real-world challenges in high-impact domains. 

Job Description

  • Collaborate with the Software Services leadership team to develop and refine product strategy aligned with business objectives and market needs.
  • Create and maintain a product roadmap, prioritizing features based on customer feedback and market trends.
  • Organize, create, and manage agile backlog: prioritize tickets, organize backlog, and define success metrics according to the prioritized roadmap.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on product development plans.
  • Engage with customers, industry bodies, and technology providers to gather feedback and validate new and emerging product enhancements.
  • Deliver on key performance indicators.
  • Conduct regular competitive analysis to understand market dynamics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across the organization.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

A. Required Knowledge/Formal Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

B. Required Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in product management roles, preferably in the B2B SaaS industry with a focus on industrial applications.
  • Strong understanding of industrial data analytics and related technologies, with practical exposure preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading software development projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to drive product innovation.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

E. Required Technical and Problem-Solving Skills

  • Roadmap planning: Ability to develop product roadmaps aligned with short- and long-term business strategy.
  • Effective communication: Clearly convey ideas, gather feedback, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and drive product success.
  • Product intuition: Strong product judgment to make thoughtful trade-offs when limited data is available.
  • Customer-centric approach: Empathize with customer needs and preferences to develop valuable product features.
  • Enhance usability: Improve user experience and mobile functionality through intuitive navigation and consistent design patterns.

F. Required Job Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of SaaS business models and subscription-based revenue streams.
  • Proficiency in industrial data analytics concepts, tools, and technologies.
  • Familiarity with B2B sales dynamics and customer relationship management.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
  • Understanding of product management frameworks and best practices.
  • Awareness of market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the industrial data analytics space.
  • Strong project management skills, including task prioritization and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Nice to Have

  • Startup or innovation lab experience
  • Experience integrating with OT systems (e.g., SCADA)
  • Familiarity with ESG and sustainability technologies
  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts
