Duties:                                                             

Responsibilities include: Ensure the responsibility of the Structural engineering discipline within the framework of the execution of large iEPCI type projects by integrating customer and project requirements; Responsible for the design and specification of part of the permanent and temporary equipment necessary for the execution of a Subsea projects in compliance with customer constraints/disciplines, cost/deadlines, as well as the monitoring of their supply cycles; Responsible for budget of hours, the schedule for issuing customer and internal deliverables, the interfaces on perimeter (R&D, manufacturing, other project disciplines); Search and recognize the main and critical parameters guiding the design in agreement or not with the project contract and to evaluate the impact of cost/planning; Effectively review the reports and technical analyzes of his peers and other disciplines and services with whom he will have exchange; Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and the other entities of the group; Interface with the specialists of disciplines and the R&D teams in technical support, requests for exemptions and to attend qualification tests. Domestic and international travel required 25% of time.

Requirements:                           

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Pipeline Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a Senior RiSE Engineer-related occupation.

Position requires experience in the following:                         

  1. Experience with System/Project level engineering execution in a regional based lead role, with direct or indirect resources working under, as part of ongoing project team.
  2. Experience with product design for Tree/Wellhead/Manifold/PLETs/Jumpers and integrated components such as valves, connectors (vertical or horizontal), fittings, hubs or other components as required by API 6A or 17D. 
  3. Experience with any of the finite element software such as SACS, STAAD PRO, ABAQUS, ANSYS or equivalent.
  4. Experience with product lifecycle management PLM tools such as Arena PLM & QMS, OpenBOM, Propel, Siemens Teamcenter (TCE), or equivalent.
  5. Experience with project schedule planners such as PRIMVERA P6, OpenText PPM, Smartsheet, ARES PRISM, or equivalent.
  6. Experience with structural welding for big assemblies per AWS D1.1 or equivalent.
