Job Purpose

Senior QA/Applications Analyst focused on test strategy, manual and automated testing, CI/CD integration and close collaboration with development and configuration teams to ensure release quality.

Job Description

  • Define test strategy and validation plans for releases and tasks.
  • Create, maintain and execute manual test cases and automation scripts.
  • Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and ensure rapid quality feedback.
  • Document test results, report defects and manage remediation cycles.
  • Collaborate with configuration engineers, developers and operations during builds and deployments.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and support squad rotations.

Industry experience necessary

  • 3–5 years in software quality assurance with manual and automated testing experience in agile environments.

You are meant for this job if:

  • Solid understanding of QA fundamentals including test suites, acceptance criteria, test strategy, and execution.
  • Hands-on experience in QA automation, including implementation and maintenance.
  • Proficiency with version control and CI tools like Git, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Xray, and TestRail.
  • Experience working in agile teams and using collaboration tools.
  • Bonus skills include automation programming (Python, Java, C#, JavaScript), API testing (REST/SOAP), and basic knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and domain knowledge in Control & Automation is a plus.

Posting information

  • Work hours: standard business hours with flexibility and occasional after-hours testing.
  • Travel required: occasional to units and plants; estimated 25%.
