As a Senior Compensation Analyst, you will be a key team member of our Total Rewards team. You will apply your advanced compensation, project management, and analytical skills to deliver and promote our compensation philosophy across the world. You will report directly to the Director, Global Compensation and help lead global compensation projects and, annual campaigns, and recognition programs. Your analysis and experience will inform reward strategies and influence key decisions.
Role can be based in Houston, US or in the UK.
Job Description
- Reports to the Director of Global Compensation, assisting in design, delivery, analysis, budgeting, and administration of global compensation programs.
- Analyzes global compensation data, comparing internal pay structures to external data to assess competitive positioning.
- Collaborates with regional compensation teams to support global compensation program execution.
- Prepares presentations to summarize findings from compensation analyses, bringing insights and recommendations.
- Leads key compensation projects, managing project plans, tracking progress, and reporting to stakeholders.
- Evaluates job profiles, reviewing descriptions and benchmarking data to ensure alignment with internal structures and market trends.
- Provides training, guidance, and support on compensation processes, tools, and philosophy to the Total Rewards team and business partners.
- Participates in global compensation campaigns, working with HRIS to ensure system accuracy, and acts as a Subject Matter Expert on compensation policies.
You are meant for this job if:
- Education: Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Analytical Experience: Minimum of 5 years, including 3 years in compensation support.
- Survey Familiarity: Knowledge of data, benchmarking, and job-level methodologies from major survey providers like WTW, Mercer, Korn Ferry, Birches, and AON.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills.
- Excel Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, charts) with experience handling large data sets.
- Data Handling: Skilled in costing, data extraction, analysis, and presentation.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal/written communication, presentation, facilitation, and consultative skills.
- Attention to Detail: High quality of work, data modeling, and analysis to support business decisions.
