Job Purpose

Immediate opening for a Sales Manager to join our TechnipFMC Team in Houston or Stephenville, TX!  Looking for an individual to drive the sales strategy and delivery in the designated end market sector Standard Pumps.  This will include working collaboratively with other end market colleagues and other functions Globally (Operations, Engineering, Strategy, Services, etc.) and building close internal relationships.  This role has overall responsibility for the sector’s pump sales forecasting, KPI’s, results, and leadership as well as delivery of strategic goals in line with the sector, wider End Markets team and TechnipFMC vision.

Job Description

  • Lead sales strategy for sector/regions, and delivery of sales against agreed targets
  • Account development planning of teams in area of responsibility to drive long term growth
  • Direct customer ownership and sales activity; supporting, coaching support teams to drive
  • Ensure accurate and transparent sales forecasting across Pump area of responsibility
  • Customer ownership through team to drive excellent strategic customer relationships
  • Drive strategic and operational excellence across different channels and in collaboration with other internal teams
  • New product introduction, campaign and event management
  • Lead relevant sales support teams towards TechnipFMC vision and strategy
  • Prepare, with support, consolidated budget and growth plans for area of responsibility within internal process.  This includes quarterly progress reports and other submissions.

 

You are meant for this job if:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/ Technical or equivalent required
  • Forecast management experience, required
  • Track record of relevant and sector experience, likely to have been gained from 1-5 years of experience.
  • Sales experience in manufacturing (reciprocating pump sector ideal) and accompanying proven track record of success.  Likely gained from 15-20 years of experience.
  • Knowledge and experience of best practices sales techniques.
  • Outstanding collaborative working across a variety of business units, challenging and changing siloed thinking wherever it appears.
  • Charismatic and inspiring personality with strong entrepreneurial flair and business acumen; passion for business growth.
  • Sales experience of larger region across all sectors.
  • The ability to travel extensively (expected to be approximately 40% of time). Ready to travel internationally as required.
