This role supports Subsea Drilling Services and will ensure assembly and test operating tasks and activities within time frame in agreement with the objectives fixed in term of performance, quality, and safety.
Job Description
• Assembles and tests assemblies according to specifications. Applies specialized skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment in area of expertise
• Completes required test documentation including test reports, failed test reports and NCRs. Assists with FAT’s and SIT’s
• Assists with design, sets-up, maintains and utilizes test stations and test equipment for factory and system acceptance testing
• Troubleshoots problems, identifies and communicates design discrepancies. Identifies and suggests design improvements
• Uses material handling equipment to move parts, components and sub-assemblies from one work or storage area to another as required
• Collects and inputs information in specific systems for cost tracking purposes
• Suggests improvements to Assembly Procedures. May draft new procedures as assigned
• Performs all duties in a safe manner and keeps all employees aware of dangers in work area
• Supports in training and orienting less experienced colleagues. May act as coordinator of a small team of technicians or train less experienced operators
• Subject matter expert in a specialized field.
You are meant for this job if:
• High school diploma or equivalent technical diploma
• 5 years of experience in field
• Exhibits leadership traits around communication, establishing requirements and addressing areas for improvement
• Proficiency to read and interpret drawings and technical documentation in assembly
• Knowledge/ use of integrated systems and more tools, complex equipment and techniques
