This role supports Subsea Drilling Services and will ensure assembly and test operating tasks and activities within time frame in agreement with the objectives fixed in term of performance, quality, and safety.

Job Description

• Assembles and tests assemblies according to specifications. Masters basic skills and some advanced skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment in the area of expertise

• Completes required test documentation including test reports, failed test reports and NCRs

• Cleans components after assembly according to FMCTI specifications and verbal/written instructions

• Uses material handling equipment to move parts, components and sub-assemblies from one work or storage area to another as required

• Collects and inputs information in specific systems for cost tracking purposes

• Performs all duties in a safe manner and keeps all employees aware of dangers in work area

• Assists more experienced Assembly Technicians as assigned

You are meant for this job if:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Up to 2 years of experience in field

• Proficiency to read drawings and technical documentation in assembly

• Knowledge/use of complex equipment and techniques (e.g. FAT, Gas testing, etc.)

• Has a LEAN mindset approach
