Job Purpose

Assists the administration of more complex projects.  Monitors and schedules the flow of materials, components, assemblies or inventory through assigned projects.  Plans the maintenance and refurbishment or purchasing of assigned parts, components or materials to meet project schedules.

Job Description

  • Enters and releases milestone sales and services orders at the direction of the Project Manager for complex/ large projects
  • Determines the sources of the components (to make or to buy) per current operation sourcing strategy and enters into the system
  • Updates the manufacturing execution plan for assigned projects. Reports manufacturing status to the Project Team
  • Assists in the procurement and manufacturing schedules, coordinating with the project and Engineering teams
  • Monitors the flow of inventory through assigned projects
  • Performs and documents inventory impact review at project closing
  • Troubleshoots shop and purchase order problems and facilitates resolution
  • Assists, as required, to track down missing parts or to make part substitutions

You are meant for this job if:

  • High school diploma or equivalent technical diploma (Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred)
  • 2 years of experience, (industry experience preferred, but not required)
