Job Purpose

Delivering technical survey support across a wide range of subsea and offshore construction-related project activities. The role provides survey support directly to project execution, fabrication, and installation operations. This includes ensuring that all survey-related work is performed in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, industry best practices, client contractual requirements, and applicable safety and quality expectations.

Job Description

  • Adhere to survey methodologies in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, industry standards, Group HSE, engineering processes and best practices to best fit project and Client requirements.
  • Adhere to HSES and Quality guidelines.
  • Follow survey technical specifications in accordance with the contract.
  • Contribute to production of survey Method Statements.
  • Contribute to production of scheduling input for projects and forecasting the dates of survey deliverables.
  • Verification of client provided datasets.
  • Perform LBL array and slope analysis.
  • Generate survey coordinates for installation aids.
  • Contribute to production of survey procedures related to positioning of structures, pipelines and umbilicals in relation to the subcontractors, the structure design, and installation team.
  • Identify work scope risks and support implementation of mitigations, as directed.
  • Participate in design control and operability meetings such as Product HAZID/Design Reviews, Constructability, HIRA, Offshore Readiness Reviews, Lessons Learned etc. Support the implementation of action items, as directed.   

You are meant for this job if:

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline or equivalent; specialized in Surveying, Geophysics, Topography, or Marine Sciences preferred.
    • At least one (1) years’ experience in survey related studies. Positioning systems, geodetics, GIS, Cartography, Hydrography, Geophysical, Geotechnical, data processing or bachelor’s degree in survey engineering related field of study.
    • Ability to obtain a TWIC, passport, working visa(s) and medical certs such as BOSIET and OGUK.
    • Excellent command of English.
