Job Purpose

The Planner-Scheduler II will provide project planning and scheduling support to projects within Subsea NAM group, including vessels. This candidate must be detail oriented, but able to understand projects from a top level perspective while strictly adhering to the foundational beliefs and core values of TechnipFMC.

Job Description

Define project objectives, including duration and resource requirements, and establish realistic contract timelines.Develop and maintain schedules aligned with execution strategies to mitigate risks and reduce costs.Set up planning and scheduling systems, including methods, procedures, dashboards, and project breakdown structures.Monitor and control project status, identify delays, propose corrective actions, and prepare time extension analyses when needed.Optimize resources (E-P-C-I) and support client approval processes for schedule baselines, progress claims, and milestone achievements.Facilitate communication and collaboration across cross-functional and cross-company teams to resolve scheduling conflicts early.Provide project feedback and lessons learned to improve planning methods; supervise or train junior colleagues as required.Present schedules and progress updates effectively to diverse internal and external stakeholders.

You are meant for this job if:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Procurement, Operations, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).3–5 years of project execution experience; subsea oil & gas industry with vessel schedules preferred.Proficient in project planning software (Microsoft Project and/or Oracle Primavera P6) and MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Ability to coordinate multiple schedule inputs into a master schedule and deliver accurate status reports.Effective communicator and team player; capable of client interfacing and representing the company professionally.Willingness to work nights/weekends during vessel operations and support offshore projects as needed.Experience with contractual review, project negotiations, multi-site interfaces, and commercial management preferred.
