Job Description
- Understand customer requirements and determines how TechnipFMC standard quality systems and/or processes best meet those needs.
- Assist Project Management Team during project execution in terms of quality issues. Support product execution and ensures compliance with contract quality requirements, anticipating when to consult with other departmental functions.
- Ensures cooperation and interaction across many diverse parties both internal and external to the organization.
- Prepare specific quality documents/reports required by the Clients for Projects.
- Assess documents related to the quality discipline issued by suppliers.
- Being the interface with Supplier Quality Team for managing quality issues with suppliers.
- Manage non-conformances, lead and/or support RCAs (Root Cause Analysis).
- Take part in meetings with suppliers and/or Clients to discuss quality issues.
- Monitor Quality KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
- Mentoring of Quality Inspectors, suppliers and Third-Party Inspectors
- Support project quality audits, conduct internal and external quality audits if required.
- Manage quality incidents.
You are meant for this job if:
- Degree qualified in Engineering, science, or combination thereof. Preference with formal training &/or qualified in Quality relations.
- At least seven years of related experience preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Knowledge of ISO (International Standard Organization) and API (American Petroleum Institute) specifications Q1, 6A and 17D.
- Strong SAP knowledge required. Strong knowledge/experience in documentation, file retrieval and storage systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interface with customers and co-workers.
- Ability to identify systemic issues and propose solutions through a working knowledge of process improvement and basic quality tools like 5 Why, 8D, Ishikawa and structured root cause analysis process etc.
- Maintain the ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Spend 70% time in an office environment and 30% of time in manufacturing environment. May be exposed to possible shop hazards including high noise, heavy machinery, and shop traffic. Makes visits to existing and potential vendor’s facilities from time to time.
Frequent sitting and operating a computer. Fast paced atmosphere with multiple priorities and constant change. Some travel for vendor and/or client contact.
