Job Purpose
The PPM is dedicated to a project and is the main interface for the Project Management Team (PMT), the Client and the Global Sourcing and Procurement function for that project. The PPM manages a team of Buyers, Subcontract Engineers, Expeditors that is in charge of delivering the entire supply chain of the project. During a proposal phase, the PPM is in charge of providing cost estimation to the Tendering Team of all equipment and subcontracted services included in TechnipFMC scope of work.
Job Description
- Manage the Supply Chain function in the project, monitor hours, budgets, planning, Vendor Non-Conformances, interface with Global Sourcing & Procurement function from the initiation of the project to the closure.
- Be the relay of Global Sourcing & Procurement function to enforce the applicable processes and policies to the project.
- Establish a supply chain strategy for the project in accordance with Category Strategy
- Provide reports required by the project.
- Interface with the client with regards to procurement subjects on the project.
- Manage the procurement team on the project, which oversees:
- Creating a procurement plan and its related Budget and Documents,
- Managing relations with the vendors,
- Preparing request for quotation packages as per the technical specifications,
- Analyzing quotations,
- Negotiating the technical and commercial conditions,
- Awarding the purchase orders and finalizing the contract documents,
- Ensuring the delivery of goods and services is in accordance with the purchase order requirements,
- Managing the disputes, claims of the vendors until the purchase order closure,
- Evaluating, negotiating, and agreeing the vendors final accounts,
- Forecasting the cost at completion for major purchase orders,
- Assessing the vendor performance at the end of the project and provide feedback.
You are meant for this job if:
- MSc or Bachelor’s degree within business administration, quantity surveying, engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in oil and gas, energy or construction industries.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in supply chain management.
- Capable of coordinate a multicultural team, located across multiple sites
- Capable of leading multifunctional meetings internally
- Capable of solving complex issues / Problem solving skills
- Change management mindset
- Ability to manage and develop a team, set clear objecitives linked to GSP SSI Journey
- Ability to guide colleagues and act as a mentor
- Provides leadership in a functional domain for GSP
- Ensure global alignment of policies, procedures, systems and applications developments at global level.
