In this role, you will plan, manage, coordinate, and complete assigned projects, typically consisting of the schedule, technical scope, and financial performance of multiple projects, in order to deliver quality service on time and to customer requirements. Typically, projects will have multiple work scopes, higher complexity, and increased customer collaboration. You will apply project management techniques as defined by the Customer Service management organization. You will demonstrate leadership and the ability to work within a matrix team environment, contributing significantly to team performance. Additionally, you will exhibit behavior focused on customer success.

Job Description

• Serves as a single point of contact for customers after the sale as assigned, also for the various functional areas

• Builds and maintains relationship with customer and other suppliers associated with the project

• Leads the planning of project strategies including contracting, risk management, project controls, and project execution

• Coordinates with Senior Manager to establish a realistic project schedule and monitors compliance with the defined project objectives and project management processes

• Ensures that the project status and progress is effectively communicated to the Project Team and to the customer

• Develops and communicates the project budget and staffing plans and organization. Conducts periodic financial reviews

• Manages and negotiates Variation Orders (VO) and other changes to the contract within his/her scope of work

• Develops and implements Commercial Performance Plan

• Produces integrated solutions to strategic issues and presents recommendations to customers

You are meant for this job if:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • 8 to 10 years of experience

  • Customer service focused with commitment and sense of urgency to ensure customer success

  • Working knowledge of engineering, procurement, manufacturing and testing processes.

  • Understanding of commercial terms and conditions and the risks/opportunities of each as applicable to contract management and business execution.

  • Ability to implement product/project execution plans as required by relevant policy and procedures.

  • Apply solutions derived from knowledge gained through past experiences and internal resources.

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and interact with external customers and management.

  • Good understanding of maintenance philosophies, offshore logistics, subsea products and business management planning tools.
