Job Purpose
TechnipFMC is a global leader in subsea, onshore/offshore, and surface projects. The Project Administrative Assistant while in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures and processes, will be responsible for being able to complete work independently and resolving issues without direct supervision. This position will also involve performing advanced administrative duties that require a broad knowledge of departmental policies and procedures.
***This role is based at our Energy Tower location (11740 Katy Fwy). Candidates must also be flexible to work at our North Houston location as per business needs (13460 Lockwood Road)***
Job Description
- Prepares and analyzes trends and reports, drawing data from a variety of sources within and outside the department
- Assists in the formulation of the department budget, business planning, and related planning functions
- May process logistics/ travel arrangements and solve related issues, providing assistance and guidance to employees
- Performs clerical and administrative duties including data entry, proofreading and editing documents.
- Regularly develops original spreadsheets, databases and reports and assists with complex presentation material.
- Completes transmissions of assigned Project monthly reports in accordance with standard processes and procedures.
- Adaptability to use and/or manage various applications such as SharePoint, PowerBI and EDMS to carry out tasks
- Plans, coordinates and makes arrangements for on-site and offsite Conferences, meetings and special events.
You are meant for this job if:
- High School diploma in the discipline with a minimum 3 years of experience or 5 years of practical administrative experience.
- Solid understanding of policies and procedures that apply to assignments.
- Ability to evaluate and resolve problems independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills for inter-departmental and customer interaction.
- Fluent in English; strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Ability to use advanced department-specific software packages.
- Must have the ability to handle many diverse tasks simultaneously and be able to work effectively with interruptions.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential or sensitive information or issues.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Spends a minimum of 95% of the time in an office environment. Rare potential shop exposure if visiting that work environment for short periods of time which requires lifting, walking, stooping, bending, and some climbing. Fast paced atmosphere with many multiple priorities and always constant changing environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Office environment requires sitting, operating a computer, walking and some lifting. Some potential exposure to possible shop hazards when visiting the shop/field environment that includes high noise, heavy machinery, and shop traffic
