In this role, you will oversee the scheduling, planning, and monitoring of production operations to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow. You'll be responsible for managing the department's production schedule, ensuring seamless coordination and optimal operational efficiency.

Job Description

  • All Production Control Planners in the department report to this position. Responsible for supervision of 5 - 10 employees. Role focuses on leadership and effectiveness of Planning department.
  • Typically interfaces with all levels of internal and external customers. Commitment to customer service is critical. Frequent contact with Operations Management, Project Management, Project & Operations Engineering, Quality Assurance, HS&E, and all Shared Services within Subsea Services to communicate requirements, assignments, and results.
  • Responsible for cost performance of Planning Team.
  • Manages, directs, and supervises work directly through Planners and possibly indirectly through Lead Planner(s).
  • Implements changes to functional and/or departmental processes to increase efficiency and productivity. Expert knowledge of functional area and understanding of how the function interacts and impacts other departments.
  • Errors are detected through the monitoring of team, processes, inputs and outputs, financial performance, on time delivery, and proactive management of plans.

You are meant for this job if:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field strongly preferred, OR equivalent years of experience
  • At least ten years of Production/Services Planning experience
  • Demonstrated track record and expertise in autonomously developing and monitoring production/service planning
  • Preferably at least 2-3 years management or leadership experience
  • APICS CPIM or similar operations planning certification strongly preferred
  • Effective collaboration skills with peers, management, etc. inside diverse environments
  • Industry and TechnipFMC product knowledge preferred
  • Strong knowledge of lean practices
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical problem‐solving skills, e.g. A3, PDCA, RCA
  • Strong computer and software skills, e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Ability to establish deadlines and manage priorities for self and others
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to continually learn and develop
