Payroll Coordinator

Job Purpose
This role provides daily oversight and supports payroll processing across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Suriname, and Guyana. The position requires hands-on support for day-to-day payroll processing, payroll systems and process management, payroll projects, and other requests during high-volume periods
Job Description
- Manage payroll administration and support accurate, timely payroll processing across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Suriname, and Guyana.
- Support with processing, training, project completion, issue resolution, and deadline management.
- Monitor PN/SF tickets to identify payroll exceptions requiring manual calculation, including retroactive changes, late time, FSP/PD, and leave adjustments.
- Review, audit, reconcile, and correct payroll data before and after transmission to ensure accurate pay, taxes, deductions, treasury processing, W-2s, and general ledger data.
- Perform payroll data analysis, validation, audits, and spot checks to confirm payroll information and system configurations are processing correctly.
- Perform payroll and HR system testing for ADP Vantage, SAP, ADP Workforce, Grand Thorton and related interfaces.
- Monitor inbound and outbound interfaces, partner with HRIS and vendors to resolve errors, and maintain documentation required for SOX compliance.
- Support year-end payroll activities, including year-end entries, adjustment payrolls, gross-ups, annual enrollment validation, PTO carryover analysis, and W-2 review.
- Partner with Deloitte and the Global Mobility team on international mobility activities, including inpat/expat allowances, hypo tax, and shadow payrolls.
- Work with Shared Services, HRIS, GBS, Benefits, Finance, P&C teams, and payroll vendors to resolve payroll, tax, interface, deduction, and system/process issues.
- Develop and update Payroll SOPs, support payroll projects and system enhancements, and stay current on legislative changes that impact payroll processes
You are meant for this job if:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 7 years of payroll experience required;
- Experience with payroll tax compliance, including research, opening and closing jurisdictions, analyzing and resolving payroll tax issues, and applying payroll tax regulations.
- Experience with international mobility, including assignment review, payments, taxes, shadow payrolls, and data reporting to tax consultants.
- Minimum 5 years of complex payroll processing experience
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- ADP (enterprise, payforce, vantage)
- Payroll system change management (special projects for enhancement), etc
- Workforce time system knowledge a plus.
- Experience working in a shared services environment is a plus
- SAP experience is a plus.
- Workforce Time experience is a plus
