This role independently manages the administration of more complex projects, monitors and schedules the flow of materials, components, assemblies, and inventory, performs detailed inventory analyses, and addresses problems to maintain high system data accuracy, minimize excess inventory, and keep manufacturing plans on schedule.
Job Description
- Audit all orders submitted for zero defects and clear requirements
- Facilititates communications between cross-comapny and cross functional teams to ensure scheduling conflicts are identified early and solutions accurately incorporated into schedules and processes.
- Dispatch reviewed orders to work centers to meet customer required deliverables
- Facilitates communications between key support functions within the department.
- No direct reports. Will be required to engage with multiple levels of stakeholders throughout the organization and have potential client interaction as well.
- Supports the development, review, and contract requirements for baseline schedule and assists in establishing criteria for schedule development (schedule details, work breakdown structure (WBS) and others)
- Assists with the development and updates summary levels as well as detailed schedules
- Working with the project team to identify major milestones, critical approvals, and long lead items
- Determines reasonable schedule logic and constraints based on discussion with task owners and/or teams
- Evaluates critical and near critical path activity sequences
- Assesses or validate actual progress
- Monitors schedules changes and trends
- Suggest corrective action and/or develops recovery plans when delays are anticipated
- Implements project controls on the project schedule
- Incorporates updates in the project schedule based on input from the organization
- Reviews all contractual documentation regarding the protect planning and project control
- Works with shop management and manufacturing engineering to establish capacity profiles in SAP
- Ensure work centers are level loaded based off of capacity profiles
- Work with project managers to strategically release orders to improve efficiency
- Ensure cooperation and interaction across diverse stakeholders, internal and external to the organization

Bachelor's degree (Business Admin, Engineering, Operations, or other related area of study, OR equivalent years of experience)

Technical background is required.

3 to 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas/Energy industry preferred
