Job Purpose

You will be involved in subsea pipeline projects and tenders, providing assistance to project, vessel, Spoolbase, welding, and fabrication teams.

Job Description

Provide technical NDE expertise to welding and project teams for pipeline project execution.
Review technical specifications in line with contractual documents and scope of work.
Prepare cost estimates for tenders based on requirements and scope of work.
Perform technical support for requisition at each stage of the manufacturing and fabrication phase.
Plan and manage execution of NDE Validation/Verification and/or Qualification scopes as needed.
Perform AUT/NDT setup reviews for the start of scopes (i.e., WPQ, Validation, Production, etc.).
Perform AUT/NDT audits on-site to evaluate personnel, hardware, and software.
Work with vessel and Spoolbase operations to manage supplier/subcontractor site presence.
Review/approve NDE supplier/subcontractor site personnel and documentation for NDE procedures, ITPs, reporting, etc.
Review reporting and relevant scan data (WPQ, Validation, Consistency checks, Demonstrations, etc.).
Work with vessel and Spoolbase quality to review production scan data as needed. 

You are meant for this job if:

At least 8 years’ experience in Gulf of Mexico Oil & Gas industries.   Automated Ultrasonic Testing (AUT) pipeline inspection experience required.

Candidate must be familiar with Subsea Pipeline NDE methods and know-how for CS, CRA, and Duplex materials.

Candidate must have a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics degree or equivalent and the following NDT conventional certifications with valid dates (up to 2025 at least):

•    Certified level III UT (Ultrasonic Inspection) – Extensive Field Experience is desired.
•    Certified level III MP (Magnetic Particle Inspection)
•    Certified level III DP (Dye Penetrant Inspection)
•    Certified level III RT (Radio Testing Inspection) 

Good communication skills, Fluent in English, Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of programs.
