Job Title:                                             IDS Transformation Lead

Duties:                                                             

Responsibilities include: Guide the IDS organization through the Lean Transformation journey, adhering to the Enterprise management system’s Obeya fundamentals and guidelines, and leveraging insights from the Lean Transformation Framework; Work closely with business leaders to comprehend and align with the business strategy, ensuring consistent communication and updates on IT initiatives; Analyze and document business processes and requirements, identifying IT capabilities to support and enhance these processes; Lead the development and management of the Lean transformation framework across the entire IDS department; Develop, teach, and coach senior leaders within IDS on the management system for performance and improvement, and manage the Obeya; Ensure the successful implementation and sustainability of Lean practices within IDS, playing a crucial role in embedding these practices into the organizational culture. May telecommute. International travel required 20% of the time

Requirements:                          

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Planning, Engineering, Procurement, Operations or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a IDS Transformation Lead-related occupation.

 

Position requires experience in the following:

                         

  1. Experience with Lean Visual Management Systems such as Kanban, Visual Management Boards, and Obeya Rooms to enhance transparency and efficiency in operations for visual tracking of project progress and performance metrics.
  2. Experience with Lean Maturity Assessments such as Lean Production Systems and Assessment Criteria and Scoring Tools to evaluate and score organizational maturity in Lean practices to identify areas for improvement and track progress over time.
  3. Experience with Lean Six Sigma such as Minitab and advanced MS Excel to lead high-impact projects that result in significant cost savings and process improvements.
  4. Experience with Project Management and Strategic Planning software such as Microsoft Project and JIRA to plan, execute, and monitor projects, as well as to develop strategic plans to align with organizational goals and drive continuous improvement.
  5. Experience with Financial Analysis Software and P&L Management Tools to manage Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibilities and to drive cost control, budget management, and financial performance improvement.
  6. Experience with Data Visualization and Analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Python (Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn) to create interactive dashboards and visualizations to present complex data insights effectively.
  7. Experience with Microsoft Power Automate to automate repetitive business processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors for workflow automation.
  8. Experience with Database Management technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle to design and maintain databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
