Job Purpose

The Production Control Planner (Field service specialist) manages and facilitates planning functions, WHSE transactions, scheduling, quality, logistics for workshop functions in a new frontier location.  The maintenance, modification, and repair work orders coordinated by the Production Control Planner serve to prepare equipment for customer use according to operational requirements and priority.  The Production Control Planner develops tactical MMRS execution plans in support of forecasted and active Subsea Services projects.  Planners perform all service order management functions including, but not limited to, sub-order creation, workshop capacity evaluation, workshop dispatching and scheduling, service notification/quality notification initiation and completion, third party service coordination, and some inventory analysis to ensure the project execution plan can be delivered according to customer requirements.

Job Description

  • Experience in planning, logistics, WHSE, scheduling and setting up new operations in a new frontier location
  • Assign staff to production operations in collaboration with managers
  • Alert on potential issues and gather output information and results
  • Works with regular indirect supervision.
  • Frequent contact with Field Service Managers, Field Service Coordinators, Workshop Managers, Workshop Leads, Engineering, Procurement, Quality Assurance, HSE along with interactions with onsite Customer representatives  
  • Direct reports as the teams grow into independent functions.
  • Perform accordingly to meet customer needs 24/7.
  • Collaboratively leads personnel to accomplish required task(s) across all functional teams.
  • Coordinate the production workflow for one or multiple production streams
