Job Purpose
TechnipFMC is a global leader in subsea, onshore/offshore, and surface projects. The Executive Assistant will assist Subsea Project and Commercial NAM Executives with administrative duties concerning travel, expense reporting, calendar management, meetings, communications, facilities, and other administrative tasks as called upon.
Job Description
- Exercises independent judgment and initiative to perform complex administrative support duties as well as making day-to-day decisions.
- Effectively manages Executive’s calendars, appointments, and meetings.
- Composes and prepares correspondence, reports, presentations, internal communications and other complex documents.
- Plans, coordinates, and arranges on-site and offsite Conferences, meetings and special events. May also facilitate certain meetings and events.
- Assists in executives’ preparation for conferences and meetings, including preparing presentations, information and materials needed for client and management meetings.
- Coordinates complex and detailed domestic and international travel plans, itineraries, visas, and documents for needed travel.
- Manages sensitive and highly confidential information both internally and externally.
- Acts as a liaison and facilitator to and through the rest of the organization.
- Keep well-informed of the latest trends and technology related to administrative functions.
- Other duties as assigned to support business needs.
You are meant for this job if:
- Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience.
- High School diploma or equivalent, completed coursework from an accredited college/university is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to proactively evaluate and troubleshoot problems, ask questions for clarification and understand when to escalate.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English, with strong vocabulary and grammatical skills with an eye for attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize competing requirements and deadlines, handle diverse tasks simultaneously and work effectively with interruptions.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential or sensitive information or issues.
- Great attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to new and emerging technologies.
- Ability to be in office or work overtime as needed.
- Familiarity with Sharepoint, PowerBI, Whiteboard, and MIRO (preferred).
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Spends 95% time in an office environment and/or 5% in a shop or field environment. May be exposed to possible hazards including noise, outdoor temperature extremes, chemicals, pressure testing, heavy lift operations and shop/field traffic.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Office environment requires sitting, operating a computer, walking and some lifting. Some exposure to possible shop hazards including high noise, heavy machinery, and shop traffic.
