Job Purpose

The TechnipFMC Houston Internship Program is a 10-12 week long development program that prepares college students for full-time employment in the business upon graduation through exposure to product lines, job functions, and business processes within the organization.

Guided by a manager and mentor, interns will work on value-add projects with tangible objectives and will present their achievements at the end of the summer. Interns will be incorporated into various aspects of the department which may include technical training, office, shop & manufacturing environments, and testing/field operations.

The internship program will also provide opportunities to network, participate in social events, and develop professional skills.

The Environmental Intern will provide support to the Global Environmental team by assisting with the specific project/assignment as well as other tasks, as assigned.  Support various environmental related activities including training, policies/procedures, system assessment, among others.

Job Description

  • Work with the Global Environmental team to improve environmental processes and participate in  evaluating the changes to assess the improvements
  • Assist with Intelex Environmental metrics and statistical analysis
  • Support the Global Environmental team in developing resources and tools to simplify the related processes
  • Maintain department filing, data entry, scanning and archiving of documentation
  • Other duties as assigned by Global Environmental leadership team.

You are meant for this job if:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program (preferably entering Junior or Senior year) with a minimum 3.0/4.0 GPA, pursuing Environmental Science or a related field.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Prior internship experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Strong PC skills, especially in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), along with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, ask questions proactively, maintain confidentiality, and manage large volumes of data efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills, with availability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
