Job Purpose

The position will oversee a team of IT professionals within Enterprise Architecture domain, manage employee development and recruitment, and maintain the budget for their designated area. Responsible for managing a portfolio of EA tools and capabilities in the data and digital domain. Establish Enterprise Architecture governance to optimize investment decisions and ensures governance is enforced including standardized reference models, setting definitions, principles, and technology and platform models to support the strategic direction of the business.  Proactively identifies technical debt at the enterprise level; creates and executes plans for future-state architecture to meet business capabilities and effect simplification, standardization, and industrialization (SSI) and security.

Job Description

Assist the Chief Architect in support of all architectural layers in the data, digital, OT and application domain. Oversee, manage, and consult Digital and Data Platform Architects to develop and promote innovation and adherence to the EA overall roadmap for core services such as integration and data platforms. Oversee and Manage Data and Integration Platform Teams including determining resource strategies. Oversee development and delivery of integration services and documentation of existing integration points. Guide Implementation of data strategy with mindset on future technology stack and reducing technical debt. Guide implementation of Integration Strategy for Service buses (e.g. Biztalk, SAP) and ETL tools (SSIS, SAP Qlik). Foster automation of process for simplification and standardization. Partner with ERP foundational team ensuring reliability and security. Adhere and participate in. Architecture and Information Security Reviews Processes. Escalation point for integration and data platform teams for P1 and major issues. Focused on the consistent sharing of information architecture across the enterprise. Consult strategically with the organization, senior leadership, IT leaders and with partners on the data and digital domain of enterprise architecture (EA), outcomes, and results and promoting the business value of EA. Oversee and arbitrate. EA principles for business outcomes on architecture, platform and portfolio decisions. Defines vendor selection and services engagements in data and digital domain of EA. Experience with transitioning projects to product development lifecycles. Collaborate with stakeholders across enterprise architecture, information security, finance, and business teams to develop the global strategy roadmaps. Integrates innovative technologies to assess future potential through agile and lean approaches. Lead the business with processes, tools, communications, and management guidance according to business policies and standards to meet supply chain trust requirements for those seeking to achieve security audits, assessments, and certifications. Set the tone as a key member of technical staff with the Chief Architect of the EA Values

You are meant for this job if:

  • Bachelor's degree in the related field and at least 1 industry certification
  • Minimum 8 years of experience working in at least two information technology disciplines such as infrastructure, application development, or security with exposure of multiple diverse technologies, platforms, and environments
  • Minimum 2 years of experience directly leading people and teams
  • Minimum 2 years of solution architecture experience covering both business and technology architecture solutions, including IT products, services, risk, control, and capabilities
  • Experience in delivering presentations to senior-level executives and technical audiences
  • Experience of running large budget categories,  good knowledge of the global IT market and  innovations
  • Developed strong influence, trust, and team building skills and leading virtual teams across the globe
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Advanced oral and written communication and interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment
  • Experience in vendor management & technology selection
  • Effective facilitator and negotiator
  • Good knowledge of project estimating and maintaining operational budgets
  • Experience in vendor management & technology selection
  • Fluency in English
