Job Purpose
Responsible for supporting and leading activities related to the improvement of organizational processes in alignment with the corporate concepts of industrialization, which allow the company to achieve its strategic objectives, becoming a reference in the market in which it operates.
- Define, lead and support leadership and operational to active SQDC results through problems solving routine.
- Support leaders and operational team to connect work activity and flow metrics with strategy.
- Provide training for the work team on obeya, visual management, and daily management
Job Description
- Lead and facilitate kaizen workshop focus on process improvements, innovation and agile.
- Provide methodological and motivational support to the work team, through project improvement meetings, with the teams involved and evaluate the progress of the projects, making recommendations of tools and approaches that should be used
- Document each stage of the improvement projects in a standardized way, recording the improvement activities in the project monitoring template and making the file available on the process improvement website on the intranet, in order to keep all involved informed about the projects;
- Provide support in the stages of data collection, treatment and analysis and implementation of action plans of ongoing projects;
- Monitor the execution of all stages of the improvement projects, analyzing the effectiveness between what was planned and the results achieved, reassessing if the planned objectives are not achieved, PDCA cycle;
- Demonstrate effective results for the organization (qualitative and quantitative) from the process improvement initiatives in which it is involved;
- Identify opportunities for improvement in the organization's processes, through analysis and evaluation of opportunities, regarding the feasibility of their implementation;
- Define, lead and support leadership and operational to active SQDC results through problems solving routine.
- Support leaders and operational team to connect work activity and flow metrics with strategy.
- Periodically report out the performance of the improvement groups and the results achieved by their activities, including presentations to the organization's leadership;
- Leads, develops, and implements lean system audits and quality plans, as validated by the line manager
- Promotes a Lean culture on the project/ site, ensuring implementation of best practices and continuous improvement of quality standards and systems
- Assists in the definition of project objectives and metrics (KPI), analyzes performance, proposes corrective actions
- Leads or participates in investigations to resolve quality issues
- Be able to learn and teach lean method through the organization ( 5S, Kaizen, problem solving, PDCA, A3, etc..)
You are meant for this job if:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 5 to 10 years of experience in a continuous improvement role
- Skilled in people development and coaching
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite products
- Fluent in English
