Content Strategy Manager

Job Purpose
The Content Strategy Manager will play an important role as the owner of TechnipFMC’s content strategy and calendar within the Communications function. In addition to owning the content calendar across the company, this role will provide strategic input on campaign resourcing needs and staffing, prioritizing content based on audience needs and impact, coordinating across content development teams, and aligning content to the broader business strategy at TechnipFMC. This position will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the Communications function and business, serving as the central hub for Marketing and Communications content, while maintaining full visibility over the entire content portfolio and the teams that produce it.
Job Description
- Developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with TechnipFMC’s goals, messaging, and brand voice
- Creating and managing a content calendar to ensure timely and consistent delivery of high-quality content across all platforms.
- Actively managing the content portfolio across the company through constant visibility, flagging and immediately correcting problems such as potential information overload, insufficient topic coverage, and inconsistent content.
- Prioritizing high-impact and business critical projects in the content queue, as well as providing support as needed to ensure high quality of content created and brand adherence.
- Overseeing the creation and distribution of various content types, including articles, white papers, case studies, blog posts, and marketing materials.
- Serving as the “Communications Content Hub” for sharing content across teams, reusing / repurposing content as needed.
- Conducting thorough research on industry-related topics to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Collaborating with the Communications Operations team to analyze content performance metrics and make data-driven improvements to optimize content effectiveness.
- Staying updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve content quality and effectiveness.
- Managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Proven experience as a content strategist, content manager, or similar role in a B2B environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
- Energy industry experience, subsea or surface specific experience preferred
- Highly developed collaboration, stakeholder management, and persuasive influence skills
- Knowledge of content management systems (CMS), content calendar and /or collaborative work management (or project management) software platform, and marketing automation tools.
- Must be able to deliver clear, compelling, and articulate written and verbal communications
- Has a good eye for evaluating creative design content options that will resonate with target audience.
