Compensation Supervisor

Job Purpose
This position will be an integral part of the Total Rewards team. The Compensation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the compensation programs and ensuring they are competitive, fair, and aligned with the company's strategic goals. The main challenge of this position is to balance internal equity and external competitiveness while maintaining compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Job Description
This position will be responsible for the management of the Compensation programs for North America and requires a strong understanding of compensation programs and principles. This role will partner with internal departments to ensure the effective implementation of compensation policies and practices. This role will need to ensure adherence to established organization policies and make recommendations for change as appropriate.
- Oversee the annual salary review process, including merit increases and promotions.
- Manage annual salary surveys and recommend changes based on analysis.
- Develop and implement compensation programs, policies, and procedures. Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
- Conduct market analysis and manage salary structures to ensure competitive and equitable pay.
- Collaborate with HR and management on compensation-related issues and compliance.
- Analyze compensation data, prepare reports, and create presentations for senior management.
- Lead and mentor a direct report, Compensation Analyst, that will be supporting large compensation projects.
- Support Total Rewards with ad hoc projects and requests as needed.
General: Project tasks will be performed as assistance to the dedicated contracts resource and the project team. Tasks may vary depending on the scope and complexity of each project.
You are meant for this job if:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field; 5+ years of compensation management experience.
- Professional certification (e.g., CCP, SHRM-CP) preferred.
- Proficient in compensation software and advanced Excel; strong data analysis skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities, with experience managing large-scale projects.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with a talent for creating and delivering effective presentations.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations; attention to detail and accuracy.
- Collaborative team player with strong negotiation and planning skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Work Environment
