Position Purpose

As a Compensation Analyst, you will be an essential member of the Total Rewards team. In this role, you will support the implementation and management of compensation programs, ensuring they remain competitive, fair, and aligned with the company's strategic goals.

Position Duties

  • Reports to the NAM Compensation Supervisor and assists with program design, delivery, analysis, budgeting, and administration of compensation programs.

  • Daily management and administration of compensation activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.

  • Participates in market-based compensation survey submissions and implement data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends, and geographic or industry-specific variables.

  • Analyze job and compensation related data and develop models of statistical analysis with appropriate recommendations, including data and cost analysis for new programs.

  • Benchmark jobs against survey data to assess competitive compensation ranges for each position on annual basis.

  • Assess and maintain proper job slotting and classifications against organization’s global job hierarchy and local regulations.

  • Participates in various compensation related projects which involve revision, development, organizational redesign of existing compensation programs.

  • Administers company’s compensation programs, including base pay, and annual compensation salary and bonus campaigns.

  • Supports roll out of global compensation policies, such as budgeting, salary ranges, guidelines, etc.

  • Works with HRIS and IT staff to ensure that HRIS software systems meets compensation needs and are updated to reflect changes to salary structures, bonus programs, etc.

  • Provides guidance to HR business partners as needed on compensation matters.

  • Support Total Rewards initiatives and assist with various ad hoc projects and requests as needed.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of compensation experience in pay plan administration, including experience with bonus and incentive plans in mid- to large-sized organizations.

  • Demonstrates proficiency of working in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, charts) and working with large data sets is required.

  • Knowledge of data, benchmarking, and job-level methodologies from major survey providers like WTW, Mercer, Korn Ferry, Birches, and AON.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data. Ability to define and solve problems by applying experience, critical thinking, data collection and analysis to draw valid conclusions.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Strong verbal/written communication, presentation, facilitation, and consultative skills.

Working Environment

Spends 90% of time in temperature-controlled office environment and 10% of domestic or international travel may be required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
