Job Purpose

The TechnipFMC Houston Internship Program is a 10-12 weeklong development program that prepares college students for full-time employment in the business upon graduation through exposure to job functions, and business processes within the organization

Guided by a manager and mentor, interns will work on value-add projects with tangible objectives and will present their achievements at the end of the summer. Interns will be incorporated into various aspects of the department, which may include technical training and assisting in team projects.

The internship program will also provide opportunities to network, participate in social events, and develop professional skills.

Job Description

  • Help validate and review data within accounting systems
  • Collaborate with team members on special projects as assigned
  • Assist with SOX and internal audit procedures, including testing of SOX key controls and assisting with operational and financial audits
  • Conduct interviews with process owners/key stakeholders, walkthroughs, fieldwork testing, providing evidence of audit work and documentation in the form of working papers in accordance with standards
  • Provide support to external auditors as needed
  • Assist in improving documentation in audit system and tracking of deficiencies and management follow up

 

You are meant for this job if:

  • Current undergraduate or graduate university student
  • 3.0/4.0 GPA minimum
  • Previous experience in relevant field is a plus
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without restriction.  For this position we are not sponsoring or taking over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time
  • Texas state resident; preferably located in Houston

Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
