Job Purpose

As a Senior Accountant, you will own core general ledger activities, drive month end close executions, and enhance TechnipFMC's internal control framework. You will partner closely with the  Global Services team  and cross-functional teams to ensure accur

Job Description

  • Prepare and/or review monthly journal entries and support schedules.
  • Reconcile intercompany activity and coordinate issue resolution.
  • Run the monthly allocation process and ensure accuracy of all allocation entries
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations and maintain high standards of documentation
  • Own critical components of the monthly close process, ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Prepare analytical reviews of quarterly financials, investigating variances and resolving issues with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX/internal controls, supporting internal and external audits
  • Prepare Ad Hoc data requests and project work as requested
  • Contribute to a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and intellectual rigor within the accounting organization.

You are meant for this job if:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.  CPA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting related roles required
  • Solid expertise with computer applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAP.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of personnel.
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems and overall project issues independently.
  • WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • Spends 90% of time in an office environment. Travel as needed up to 15%.
    • 80-90% of time spent on a computer. 10% - 20% of time spent problem solving/communicating with personnel.  Office environment requires sitting, operating a computer, walking and some lifting. Some potential exposure to possible shop hazards when visiting the shop/field environment that includes high noise, heavy machinery, and shop traffic.  Fast paced atmosphere with multiple priorities and constant change.
