Job Purpose
Performs the installation, testing and repairing of new and reworked TechnipFMC products (equipment and tools)
Job Description
- Installs, tests and repairs new and reworked TechnipFMC products (equipment and tools)
- Establishes and maintains communication with Customer Representative on issues related to his/her perimeter (job installation/testing procedures, equipment, tooling and spare parts requirements, equipment and tooling function-fit and critical technical data)
- Provides sales support ensuring the customer is fully informed of all aspects of the job
- Assures all quality issues and documentation (equipment and procedural defects) is communicated and sent back to Company's Service Management
- Completes field documentation after the completion of each service job
- Provides Project Support as required, for all new projects which includes: assisting with project Factory Acceptance Tests and Systems Integration Testing
- Prepares and completes safety related documentation. Pursues safe work practices
You are meant for this job if:
- High school diploma or equivalent technical diploma
- Minimum 1 year of experience in field service technician role
- Intermediate knowledge of one or more of the following fields: electrical; subsea equipment; hydraulics equipment; mechanical equipment and tools; structural steel
- Ability to read and understand drawings
- Able to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to use technical tools and instruments required to perform duties
