Job Purpose

This position is a beginner level position where the employee is expected to be able to complete work with increasing independence. A Quality Inspector is a critical player in ensuring proper planning and execution of post-manufacturing services to our customers.  A Quality Inspector’s responsibilities include but are not limited to- providing Quality support / guidance to site team throughout the project lifecycle, promoting a Quality culture on the site, ensuring implementation of best practices and continuous improvement of quality standards and systems.

Job Description

  • Leads and supports quality improvement initiatives including standardization projects and production start-ups.
  • Conducts complex inspections and quality evaluations, often collaborating with engineers and authorizing production steps.
  • Interprets detailed blueprints and specifications from customers and vendors to ensure compliance.
  • Manages quality documentation and reporting, consolidating data from various sources and maintaining control records.
  • Engages with internal and external stakeholders, including TPIs, clients, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.
  • Ensures adherence to QHSE standards and regulatory requirements, promoting a strong quality culture on-site.
  • Analyzes KPIs and quality data independently, identifying risks and implementing preventive actions.
  • Trains and mentors inspectors, fosters collaboration, and drives continuous improvement across teams.

  • Guyanese citizenship required
  • High School Diploma
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) is an asset
  • Ability to produce standard quality documents
  • Leads and supports quality initiatives, including inspections, documentation, and production start-ups, ensuring compliance with internal and client standards.
  • Interprets complex technical documents and blueprints, collaborating with engineers and authorizing production steps.
  • Manages and analyzes quality data, monitors KPIs, and compiles reports to drive visibility and continuous improvement.
  • Engages with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and trust across departments and with clients.
  • Ensures compliance with QHSE standards and regulatory requirements, promoting a strong quality culture on-site.
  • Demonstrates strong technical, communication, and computer skills, with adaptability, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset.
