Job Purpose

Plans, manages, coordinates and completes assigned projects typically consisting of the schedule, technical scope and financial performance of multiple projects in order to deliver a quality service, on-time, and to customer requirements. Typically, projects will have multiple work scope, higher complexity, and increased customer collaboration. Applies Project Management techniques as defined by the Customer Service management organization. Demonstrates leadership and the ability to work within a matrix team environment and contributes significantly to team performance. Demonstrates behavior focused on customer success.

Job Description

Builds and maintains relationships with customers and suppliers, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring clear communication across all project stakeholders.Provides overall project oversight, implements system interfaces, and ensures adherence to defined project objectives, processes, and quality standards.Develops and manages the project schedule and budget, monitors progress, approves expenditures, applies schedule‑compression strategies, and leads periodic financial reviews.Defines team member responsibilities, ensures adequate resourcing, leads team alignment and communication efforts, and evaluates performance and output quality.Identifies, assesses, and manages project risks throughout the lifecycle, supporting development of risk response plans, risk registers, and lessons learned.Assists in planning and executing project strategies including contracting, project controls, risk management, and creation of the Project Execution Plan.Manages contract changes and Variation Orders (VOs), including negotiation, documentation, summary logs, and obtaining executed agreements.Oversees project closeout activities, including equipment disposition and storage plans, customer acceptance notifications, and maintaining master issue lists and lessons learned databases.

You are meant for this job if:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. 
  • At least three years’ of related experience.
  • Good understanding of the application of Project Management techniques and standards.
  • Working knowledge of engineering, procurement, manufacturing and testing processes.
  • Understanding of commercial terms and conditions and the risks/opportunities of each as applicable to contract management and business execution.
  • Demonstrate understanding of methods of cost control, risk management, project scheduling and contract management.
  • Ability to implement product/project execution plans as required by relevant policy and procedures.
  • Apply solutions derived from knowledge gained through past experiences and internal resources.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, internal and external negotiation, and planning skills.
  • Good understanding of maintenance philosophies, offshore logistics, subsea products and business management planning tools.
  • Proficient in relevant MS Office applications.  Understanding of the purpose and value of scheduling and ERP software.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:  Spends 75% of time in a temperature-controlled environment (office, airport, airplane).  Spends 25% of time in a field environment or in a subcontractors shop and may be exposed to possible hazards

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Frequent sitting and operating a computer and meeting with customers.
