Participates in engineering solutions as part of a SSE project taskforce, in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures, processes, schedules, and budget, with a continuous concern for quality, targets, and customer satisfaction.
Job Description
A Subsea Services Installation Engineer is responsible for installation and intervention operations executed by TechnipFMC personnel in field environments. Provides onsite and remote technical support for completion operations executed by TechnipFMC at various Field Locations (onshore and offshore) for Guyana Projects.
- Coordinates logistics and management of equipment, tools, and spares.
- Develops and maintains accuracy of project installation procedures
- Ensures that all field procedures are received, accurate, followed and signed-off on.
- Stays current on all TechnipFMC Products and Services.
- Ensure GFERPs and SNs are submitted timely and reviewed at the field level.
- Provide technical input to RCAs and resolution of field non-conformances.
- Host Technical Readiness Reviews (TRR) prior to on or off-site execution of work.
- Host After Action Reviews (AAR) following on or off-site execution of work.
- Promotes strong liaison with technical Subject Matter Experts.
- Coordinates engineering resource requirements with Field Service Manager.
- Assist in planning and expediting issues in home office.
- Ensure functional locations are created for assigned projects.
- Create and maintain project equipment lists and document registry for projects.
- Respond to technical requests with direct customer interface.
- Provide planned and unplanned technical support and troubleshooting for onshore and offshore activities
- Maintains and contributes to a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures
- Monitor and ensure safe work practices are implemented into the teams daily activities.

- Guyanese national required
- BS degree in Engineering required.
- 2- 4 years of experience in the O&G industry, field experience is required.
- Interest and ability to perform hands-on labor in a field environment during operational execution.
- Travel offsite/offshore as needed.
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Possess strong PC skills and knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Effective understanding and communication within diverse cultural environments.
- Ability to present ideas, concepts, data and facts in a clear and concise manner and the ability to persuade and influence others as needed.
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback and coaching, and respond appropriately.

- Must be able to complete T-HUET/BOSIET training and all other relevant offshore training.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
- Work Environment: Spend time in an office environment and/or in onshore/offshore field environment. The percentage of time spent in these environments will be determined by customer requirements and project deliverables. May be exposed to possible hazards including noise, outdoor temperature extremes, chemicals, pressure testing, heavy lift operations and shop/field traffic..
- Physical Demands: Office environment requires sitting, operating a computer, walking and some lifting. Hands-on labor in shop and/or field environment, requires lifting, walking, stooping, bending, and some climbing.
