Job Purpose
A Subsea Services Installation Engineer is responsible for installation and intervention operations executed by TechnipFMC personnel in field environments. Provides onsite and remote technical support for operations executed by TechnipFMC at various Field Locations (onshore and offshore) for Guyana Projects
Job Description
- Manage equipment, tools, and spares, and develop and maintain accurate project installation procedures.
- Ensure field procedures are accurate, followed, and signed-off, while staying current on TechnipFMC Products and Services.
- Ensure timely submission and review of GFERPs and SNs (Non-conformance reporting tools).
- Provide technical input for RCAs, resolve field non-conformances, and host Technical Readiness Reviews (TRR) and After Action Reviews (AAR).
- Promote strong liaison with technical Subject Matter Experts and coordinate engineering resource requirements with the Field Service Manager.
- Assist in planning and expediting issues in the home office, ensuring functional locations are created for assigned projects, and maintaining project equipment lists and document registry.
- Respond to technical requests with direct customer interface, providing planned and unplanned technical support and troubleshooting for onshore and offshore activities.
- Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures, and monitor and ensure safe work practices are implemented in daily activities.
You are meant for this job if:
- Guyanese national with a BS degree in Engineering required, and 2+ years of field experience in the O&G industry preferred.
- Must have an interest and ability to perform hands-on labor in a field environment during operational execution, and be willing to travel offsite/offshore as needed.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, along with good organizational skills and attention to detail, are essential.
- Strong PC skills and knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software are required.
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage priorities, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Effective understanding and communication within diverse cultural environments, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuade others.
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback, work in a team-oriented environment, and embody a customer-oriented attitude while working independently.
- Must demonstrate commitment to core values, lead by example, and complete T-HUET/BOSIET training and other relevant offshore training.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Spend time in an office environment and/or in an onshore/offshore field environment. The percentage of time spent in these environments will be determined by customer requirements and project deliverables. May be exposed to possible hazards including noise, outdoor temperature extremes, chemicals, pressure testing, heavy lift operations, and shop/field traffic
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The office environment requires sitting, operating a computer, walking, and some lifting. Hands-on labor in a shop and/or field environment requires lifting, walking, stooping, bending, and some climbing.
