We are looking for a Project Engineer Maintenance who can join our team in Florø, Norway. 

 

Job Description

As our new Project Engineer Maintenance
You will play a key role on supporting the Workshop Operations on the ongoing projects and Commercial department on the coming projects. Your job is to prepare, plan for and follow up different activities executed in our workshop, ensuring jobs are executed as required, when required and on quality required. You will be the project technical point of contact to the workshop, customer and subcontractors and provide technical assistance in solving issues in liaison with Engineering, Workshop and Supply Chain. You will participate in defining maintenance strategy in accordance with internal, market and customer requirements. An important part of your job will be to establish, evaluate and resolve Quality escapes and deviations as required, and constantly improve the way we are working to reduce quality escapes. Administrative tasks will also be an important part of your job, you will be responsible to prepare and review project documentation according to relevant project requirements and standards and create and update engineering documents. 

You are meant for this job if:

  • You have an Engineering Degree within mechanical, marine, electro, automation etc. (lack of education can be compensated with relevant experience) 
  • You have more than 2-3 years work experience
  • You have practical experience from workshop/offshore (preferable)
  • You have experience from subsea engineering (preferable)
  • You have good computer skills in general
  • You speak and write both Norwegian and English fluently
  • You can generate results working both as part of a team and independently
  • You continuously raise standards
  • You are eager to learn new technical systems
  • You have good communication skills and have a strong sense of collaboration
  • You can make decisions and learn from every situation
  • You enjoy the balance between technical/administrative tasks and execution tasks
