Job Purpose

To provide Quality support to the Dunfermline REMS site.To support an enviroment where Quality employees support maintaining and improving flow, and create the required Quality behavior within those relationships. To create LEAN/Continuous improvement thinking within the team. 

Job Description

  • Interface with owners of other value stream steps to to identify themes and lead RCAs to eliminate caused / created gaps.
  • Developing Existing Systems Capability - enhancing efficiency of workflow through improved system capability and automation, and master data cleanliness
  • Lead complex RCAs.
  • Support the Process Improvement Programme in the Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production environment using established tools and systems available
  • Support annual objectives and metrics for the Quality function. Support and maintain performance monitoring system, and a plan to close department gaps

Excellent problem solving skills 
Ability to 'own' problems, and work collaboratively across the Organisation to arrive at solutions
Knowledgeable in system capability (new and existing), with ability to translate and apply system capability toward Operation activities and
improving business flow.
Lead and Facilitate highly technical Problem Solving team members (including cross function consideration) 

Diploma Qualification
Current and up to date with Company Systems and with Systems and Digitalisation strategies.
Detailed understanding of Manufacturing processes, operations and execution methods, data analysis techniques.
Process improvement and problem solving techniques like Lean, Six sigma, 8 disciplines, structured root cause analysis process etc.
Build Collaboration within the function through development of common goals 

 

Desirable

Degree Qualification
System Awareness (SAP, Power Bl, etc) beyond roles requirements
Understanding of Inspection Process and Techniques, Calibration
Processes and Techniques, and Quality cost principles.
Working knowledge of LEAN manufacturing and processes, with capability to apply the tools
Proficient in Power Bl
