Job Purpose

We are looking for a detail‑driven and commercially minded Quotation Specialist to become the focal point for preparing high‑quality techno‑commercial quotation packages. In this role, you will develop accurate bills of material, build comprehensive cost estimates, and coordinate smooth order execution across our portfolio—which includes wellheads, x‑mas trees, pressure control equipment, production systems, integrated solutions, and related services.

As a trusted partner to both internal teams and external customers, you will collaborate closely to secure new opportunities and ensure successful delivery.

Job Description

 

  • Coordinate ITT (Invitation to Tender) reviews and execute quotation preparation in alignment with the defined commercial and technical strategy.
  • Act as the focal point for the preparation and submission of high‑quality quotations.
  • Coordinate order execution from award through delivery to ensure contractual requirements are met.
  • Review tender requirements and collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including Sales & Aftermarket, Engineering, Planning & Procurement, QA, and HSES—to collect all necessary inputs for bid preparation.
  • Prepare Bills of Material (BOMs) and develop accurate cost estimates.
  • Facilitate pricing activities and compile complete tender packages within agreed deadlines.
  • Ensure all quotations are submitted on time and in compliance with tender specifications.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to address technical and commercial clarifications, support negotiations, and secure winning outcomes.
  • Lead contract review activities with relevant internal and customer stakeholders.
  • Initiate project kickoffs with teams such as Engineering, Planning, and QA, create sales orders, and track execution progress to fulfil customer commitments.
  • Provide regular reporting on order status, liquidated damages (LDs), warranty matters, and other key metrics.
  • Adhere to all GBPMS (Global Business Process Management System) and HSES (Health, Safety, Environment & Security) guidelines
  • Proactively contribute ideas to optimise workflows and simplify processes from an operator’s perspective, driving continuous improvement.

You are meant for this job if:

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
  • Several years experience in the oil and gas or related industries in tendering process with hands on knowledge of preparing detailed cost estimates and bills of material and coordinating order execution
  • SAP experience, Salesforce experience would be an advantage

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experienced in Sales and Distribution modules in SAP or similar execution frames.
  • Competent in data analysis
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent spoken and written communication skills needed for interaction with internal and external customers in a multi-cultural environment
  • Able to work independently, organised and multi-tasker in a fast-paced environment with focus on meeting tight deadlines
  • Self-starter with drive to succeed
  • Team player with collaborative approach
