Job Purpose

As a Manufacturing Engineer responsible for managing the Assembly and Test scope you will participates in engineering solutions as part of the Manufacturing Engineering function, in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures, processes, schedules and budget, with a continuous concern for quality, targets, and customer satisfaction. You will also play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of the production processes and ensure manufacturing packages containing user documents and standards are created in collaboration with the Industrial Engineer role and under the guidance of Lead engineers operating in the Front End of the Production Engineering organization structure.

Job Description

•    Review of drawings, part reports and procedures to ensure parts can be safely produced in the most effective and efficient manner possible following the DFx methodology and Safe System of Work standards.
•    Creation of production documentation, such as, assembly & test procedures, work instructions, routings, under supervision of more experienced engineers.
•    Assists in the development of the production process to improve the performance standard and/or meet strategic objectives. Collaborate with various teams, including Manufacturing and Design to ensure successful production outcomes.
•    Develop and maintain standard routings per module and product families to control costs and plan lead times effectively.
•    Creates written specifications for the design and/or supply of shop tools. Review and maintain tooling configuration setup documentation in line with project needs.
•    Update user documents based on 1st Article findings to reflect improvements and changes.
 

You are meant for this job if:

•    Relevant experience in the Oil and Gas manufacturing industry with a focus on Assembly and Test. Other relevant experience will be considered.
•    Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline preferred.
•    Strong knowledge in engineering principles.
•    Familiarity with manufacturing processes, production documentation, and routing.
•    Show evidence of good organizational and problem-solving skills.
•    Ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
•    Understanding in use of CAD/CAM (NX), PLM Systems (TCE) and ERP Systems (SAP).
